Picture this: a scholarship that not only eases the financial burden but also opens doors to career-shaping experiences. That's what PwC Canada's Scholarship and Mentorship program for Black students is all about.

What is included in this scholarship?

Up to ten (10) scholarships available.
Each scholarship is for C$5,000.
Scholarship recipients will be paired with a professional from PwC Canada who’ll provide mentorship and coaching for one year.
Scholarship recipients will receive an optional offer of paid employment at PwC Canada for either a summer internship or co-op role.

Eligibility

Scholarships are open to post-secondary students who:
  • Are Black.
  • Demonstrate our five PwC Professional attributes.
  • Studying accounting and/or business, seeking careers in Assurance and/or Tax and planning to pursue their Canadian CPA.
  • Enrolled in post-secondary education at a Canadian accredited institution (full-time or part-time).
  • In 1st, 2nd or 3rd year with an expected graduation in December 2025 or later.
  • For optional employment offer, must be eligible to work in Canada for the intended duration of the offer/contract presented. Students must be returning to school following their internship or co-op to be eligible. Acceptance of position is optional and won’t impact receipt of scholarship.

Selection process

  • Complete an online application including a games based assessment, and upload your resume and unofficial transcript. No cover letter is required.
  • Successful candidates will be invited to a final interview which may take place in one of our offices or virtually and are as much about us getting to know you as they’re about you getting to know us.
  • Successfully completing the live interview will lead to a scholarship and employment offer for either a summer internship or co-op role in Assurance or Tax.
