As SharePoint Architect, Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to address business challenges, deliver high-quality client service, and enhance operational efficiency. Your role will encompass a blend of technical expertise, data strategy, project leadership, and client engagement, with a strong focus on SharePoint and information management solutions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Technical Responsibilities:
Architect and Implement SharePoint Solutions: Design, configure, and deploy SharePoint environments, including identity and access management, Microsoft Purview, retention labels, and sensitivity labels.
Migrate to Microsoft SharePoint: Oversee and execute complex migrations to SharePoint, ensuring data integrity and seamless transition.
Leverage PowerShell and Power Automate: Utilize PowerShell for SharePoint management tasks and Power Automate to streamline workflows and enhance automation.
Design Information Management Frameworks: Develop and implement frameworks for effective information management, including metadata and retention labels management, and data governance.
Optimize SharePoint Performance: Ensure efficient and scalable SharePoint solutions through best practices in performance tuning and resource management.
Data Strategy & Governance:
Develop Comprehensive Data Strategies: Create and implement data management strategies that align with clients' digital transformation goals, incorporating advanced practices for metadata and lifecycle management.
Establish Data Governance Frameworks: Design organizational models and technology integration strategies to support data governance, ensuring compliance and data quality.
Data Transformation and Migration: Lead data transformation roadmaps and manage complex migration projects to and from SharePoint environments.
Project Leadership:
Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Manage teams in delivering SharePoint and information management projects, utilizing Agile methodologies.
Conduct Technical Reviews: Perform design and code reviews to maintain high standards of solution quality.
Mentor Team Members: Guide and support junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
Client Engagement:
Translate Technical Concepts: Convert complex SharePoint and information management concepts into business value propositions for stakeholders.
Conduct Discovery Workshops: Facilitate workshops to identify opportunities for SharePoint solutions within client organizations.
Prepare Technical Proposals: Author detailed technical proposals and RFP responses, showcasing expertise in SharePoint and information management.
Business Development:
Contribute to Thought Leadership: Advance the firm’s reputation in SharePoint and information management by contributing to industry thought leadership.
Identify Upselling Opportunities: Recognize opportunities for expanding SharePoint and information management services within existing client engagements.
Collaborate on Project Scoping: Work with sales teams to accurately scope and price SharePoint projects.
10+ years of Software Implementation experience with 5+ years in leading and delivering Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
Strong understanding of Information Management and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions using Microsoft SharePoint.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Bachelor's or master's degree in information management, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft SharePoint and MS 365 are highly desirable.
